With snowshoes on the “SENTIERO DEGLI GNOMI”

Starting from the Soial resort, take the pedestrian path towards Gardeccia and after 200 meters turn left following the blue signs indicating "snowshoes" and ski touring.

Continue the same trail and after 20-25 minutes you will return to the paved road which runs for 10 minutes, then turn left again (blue signposts).

At a certain point you cross the Ciampedie-Gardeccia route, continue following the blue signs until you reach the Gardeccia basin and the homonymous hut with the massive Catinaccio silhouette in the background.

The way back can be the same route returning to Soial.

The second chance is to follow the signs “Ciampedie”, a comfortable downhill walk to Pian Pecei site where there is the intermediate chairlift station.

From Pian Pecei, alongside the departure of the chairlift called "Ciampedie", a trail starts climbing under the chairlift and leads to the plateau of Ciampedie next to the homonymous shelter.

Alternatively, you can go up by chairlift.

Note: the tour can also be done on the contrary Ciampedie-Gardeccia-Soial or partially Soial-Gardeccia-Soial or Ciampedie-Gardeccia-Ciampedie. The time lasting and physical effort can vary greatly depending on snow conditions.
