Ring walking Dona refuge - Pra Molin - Val Duron - Ciaregole Pass - Dona refuge

From the Dona refuge (mt. 2100) you descend along path n. 577 for about 25 minutes until you reach Fostiac (mt.1900) located under the dark rocky wall of the Ponjin. Near a large dark boulder, you take the forest path on the left toward Prà da Molin, this continues through the woods along the Ponjin. Once reached Prà da Molin, the wood gives way to a small high meadow where you can enjoy an excellent view of the Val di Fassa and the Marmolada.

Continue following the signs for the Micheluzzi refuge – Val Duron (1.30 hours from departure).

Keep going past the Refuge and walk through the Val Duron for a long flat stretch of meadows and pastures, and continue past the Lino Brach cabin until you reach a fork on the left which marks the beginning of the climb towards the Ciaregole pass (mt.2282) (3.00 hours from departure).

From the pass go down following the signs for Dona refuge.
